In the past 5 months I have read The Hunger Games, The Pretties, The Mortal Instruments, The Clockwork Angel, and A Modern Faerie Tale; all of which are book series meant for Young Adults. I'm addicted and even bribed my cousin to watch Caelum the day after the next Mortal Instrument book comes out so that I can read all day. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">So, life is good, life is hectic. I miss my husband and somedays on the verge of screaming into a pillow cause my son refuses to let me do anything. On the other hand life is awesome. Since I barely see Bryan we have started spending less time watching TV and more time having dance parties with Caelum, singing Primary songs while he gives us cuddles and we're home. I loved Utah while I was there, but at the same time I hated it; and so instead of being one of those people that complained about it while I was there, I left. Being close to my family and to this ward, it's amazing and i'm grateful to raise my son here. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">So, that's it for now. so uh...talk to you later : )</span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-58266501693032072552010-10-05T16:57:00.002-06:002010-10-05T19:45:48.510-06:00...and i'm a mormonSo, out here in Minnesota they have been running the new mormon.org ads nonstop. They have also announced at the pulpit that they are encouraging people to create their own profiles. This has lead me to think what I would write about and most importantly what my tagline would be. You see most people talk about their hobbies, jobs, education, or world championships they have won, whatever. Well, my hobbies have been put on hold while I move and watch my son; my job is a stay at home mom/wife, I am no longer in school and besides the championships I have won in my dreams, i've got nothing. I am simply a mom and wife. And then I realized, i'm not <em>just</em> a mom and wife, i'm a MOM and a WIFE, the best job in the entire world. <br />I am lucky that my days consist of talking to a 7 month old in silly voices, grateful that I can make breakfast and pack a lunch for my husband. My fancy work clothes are replaced by pajama pants, ponytails and tennis shoes, my business lunches are replaced by peanut butter jelly sandwiches and a baby spitting up mac and cheese. I stay at home and raise my son so we don't have to pay for child care, and I spend my days trying to find ways to save money so that I can stay home and raise the son that I chose to have; this means that we don't get to go on fancy trips to Hawaii and have put off buying a house so we can have a savings account. I no longer receve a paycheck, but I get to be home and catch every first of my son, make him giggle, cuddle him when he is sick or hurt. I stay home and support my husband who works long hours and then goes to school so someday we can have a better life, I am there for every frustrated phone call, and to give a hug and kiss as soon as he walks in the door. I have put off my own personal desires and and dreams for those of my sonand family and I could not be happier. <br />So I am proud to say that I am a mother, a wife; i'm a penny pincher. My name is Molly Watson and i'm a Mormon.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-81711304711949968522010-06-14T18:14:00.002-06:002010-06-14T18:15:42.141-06:00Wisconsin or BustSo...in case you haven't read on Facebook, didn't recieve a text or couldn't hear me shout it from my rooftop, we are headed to Wisconsin. Moving home. YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!<br />Why you might ask? Well, back in December Bryan interviewed for a job with my best friends dad to work for the city of Hudson, WI (15 min away from my home town). He then did a phone interview in the middle of April and then we waited and waited and waited oh and waited some more till about a week and a half ago when we finally got a call informing us that we got the job and get to move home!!! Problem? Bryan has to start the 21st of June. Holy freaking crapparooni. So this upcoming Sat Bryan will pack up the cats and his clothes and drive across the country. Then the next Fri my family comes out to help me pack up the U-Haul(the U-Haul that is completely destroying our savings plan) and driving this<br />all 1,340 miles of it to River Falls....with a 4 month old....stuck in a carseat....one who does not like said carseat....a 4 month old who can scream with the lungs of a creature from the depths of h3ll!!! wish me luck. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 209px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482787344151042530" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXuY09PDrlEGVjfm8ujxw8c7KJFrZwmN_h46SG6pZvhzoBV6dqSyzrHr25RVVj-s8JNdS4H0t9n26Ilb5miTAVrcWA8NcNYUOY-wlCdMW4oSHmLCiA9aeP6PVOGW19Esk9qeNnHjS7g_M/s400/WI+or+Bust.png" /><br />PS did I mention we are buying a house? Oh man when did I grow up? Oh right, when that baby came out of my body and looked at me like I was him mom.<br /><br /><div></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-11080691730126634802010-05-19T09:57:00.003-06:002010-05-19T10:07:31.992-06:00I can hit that<p align="center"> <iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dynSDmYRdf0Z1JVlmm6EvU7jrNAQCU3UzPsAWlQThvrxIvSd3QLkocwhwiJ_Js48uVQ0_KKwd9MXivwpNeAvg' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></p><p>Caelum has finally started to realize that there are toys dangeling above him and he has the power to hit them. His hand eye coordination isn't quite there yet, he's working on it, so he kind of randomly throws him arm around and will sometimes hit it. He has already improved in the 48 hours that he has been doing it. The funniest part is that he only hits with his right arm, he uses his left arm for balance, but he stares at the toy above his left arm and concentrates so hard on it. Sometimes he'll start fussing because he just doesn't understand why he can't hit it. Seriously my baby is growing up so fast. </p><p>Oh and the funniest part is that he also kicks at this ball at the end, and about one in five times he'll fart while he does it which makes him giggle even harder. He is soo my son. </p>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-47347546708542187432010-05-12T20:48:00.002-06:002010-05-12T21:01:35.026-06:00Funny Mommy Momentsso being a mom is great, hard, gross and sometimes freaking hilarious. examples:<br /><div></div><br /><div>1) Tonight we were giving Caelum his bath and doing the serious scrubbing (when you have a boy that means you have to get in the folds of his little weenus and under his boys). Well we were just about done, Bryan went to get a towel and i'm doing a final scrubbing of his boys when I look at Caelum and he's smiling, really big. So I look at him and very seriously say "Caelum it is not ok for you to smile while i'm touching your balls". I thought Bryan was going to die.</div><div> </div><div>2) So being a mom means no more privacy, even when going to the bathroom. So usually if i'm going to take a while (you know what i'm talking about) I will get the Boppy, lay Caelum in it and then turn on the blow dryer to keep him calm. Well, he started getting super fussy and crying so I pick him up, yes while i'm going potty, then the cat decides to come and watch, but that apparently wasn't enough, Riddle decided to join Caelum on my lap. So yup, I became a human chair while sitting on the toilet. Good times. </div><br /><div></div><div>3)Everytime I change Caelum's diaper he starts to laugh and smile as if to say to me "haha, you have to wipe my ass and weenus and i'm going to make you do this for the next 2 years!!! and it's only going to get worse, hahahahaha"</div><div> </div><div>Oh how I love my little man. He is starting to stand up when he holds onto our fingers, sits up with a pillow behind him, he smiles and laughs and held a toy and sucked on it all by himself today. I know these are small things, but for my first little boy these are huge milestones. He is now weighing in at a whopping 13 lbs 2 oz. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470584063629965138" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP6F0zEA9y8ovlgFaSA9p6-A3NQVr__RvsOH0e2HSeNLIp0YY1KUeidMQNE8EVtKTsVgzpM8EQ29Gwb5z-n_rO3r8AJXHKd2fP9wOamjGSqfOzZz19KLxVHzQgsHlvOwGHEmXrh_or0rM/s400/2+months+008.JPG" /></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-70845447954760498772010-03-27T19:15:00.003-06:002010-03-27T19:27:12.967-06:00Dragons and BabiesSo if you know Bryan and me at all you will know that we love love love going to the movies. Our first year of marriage we saw 47 movies in 52 weeks. So when we saw a preview for How to Train Your Dragon we knew we wanted to see it, but we knew we would have a baby that would be around a month old. Well we figured we would try to take the baby with us, we were going to risk waking up the baby when the big Dragon fight occured, took a chance that he wouldn't start to fuss and cry in the middle forcing us to leave and waste $30. <div><div>Thank freaking goodness we have a freaking angel baby. He fell asleep in his baby bjorn as soon as we got out of the car, slept on Bryan's chest for about 45 min, ate a bottle and then fell back to sleep. The movie got really loud at times but he just slept through it. Thank goodness. We now know that we can go to movies and have a little bit of our normal life back. </div><div>I know that I have complained in the past about not sleeping or how hard it is but honestly I am amazingly lucky. For the past week and a half he was been sleeping for about 5-6 hours straight, waking up and feeding and then sleeping another 2-3 hours; we are amazingly lucky that he does that at 5 weeks. He is still extremely needy, does not like to be set in his bouncer or swing and demands to be held if he is awake but overall he is a very good baby and I am loving the fact that I am his mom. </div><div>By the way here are a couple pics to make everyone happy</div><div align="center">Who doesn't like a naked baby</div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453489759483378338" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMfkyqXdrf_fNjZ5rkx-vbeDd9Qs9lIUvV-qdql1oDyllTHnjqlghM3Ut6Z5fC1wjFMy7IRxRkZQYb6wI5iDjIXoYvMRr22-1Xmh16vQARg9NSOJ_bUNTr3cbwO95hvhS3OgBXVVj1nV0/s400/partial+repeats+073.JPG" /></div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5453489401402446978" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit2Yaew_yMArpgtiaWD8yJ2A4KBudAacnZHlPOmGT_hT8ruxIigh9tdbuwujtqavavQCqq2dEputnyOpVe_lJKLjtjJPI5EFblX0S5UKTYSYG87uBPo682GAmHJYU8MApGF5sWDcJJFkc/s400/partial+repeats+030.JPG" /></div></div><br /><p align="center">He loves to balance on Bryan</p>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-61217554004597041772010-03-19T20:05:00.002-06:002010-03-19T20:12:44.103-06:00Super Mom VanishedYup, that didn't last long. <br />So we have been trying to get Caelum on a schedule, get him to sleep more during the day (he only sleeps about 4-5 hours right now and he needs 8) and longer and more at night (he sleeps for approx 6) well, he has learned to start fighting me when i'm trying to put him to sleep. That means screaming. <br />When we first brought Caelum home he was quiet and content and he would fall asleep right at 10:30 and though he was a loud sleeper he still slept. That's all gone now. Now he screams when I try to put him down to sleep and he screams in the middle of the day when I try to make him take a nap. I'm not going to lie, I usually cry right along with him, I just don't know what to do and how to get him to actually sleep. So right now life is a little harder than I thought it would be at this point. Wish us luck in these next couple months while we work with Caelum and while I try to deal with him crying through the night.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-654092564576292992010-03-16T16:39:00.002-06:002010-03-16T16:43:26.688-06:00I feel like super momI needed to document today because, this probably won't happen again for another couple weeks. <br />5:30 AM-wake up with Caelum and feed<br />6:45 AM- put him down for his first nap<br />9 AM-wake up and feed again while feeding myself breakfast<br />10:30 AM-Work out on Wii fit with Caelum in the Baby Bjorn<br />10:45 AM-Caelum falls asleep for second nap of day<br />Noon-feed<br />12:30-goes down for continuation of 2nd nap<br />3:15 PM-Caelum wakes up from naps-that's right he slept for nearly 3 hours in a single nap, meaning I slept<br /><br />During his naps I have succeeded in taking a nap myself, cleaning the living room, cooking dinner, showering, doing my make-up, working out and blogging right now. Makes me laugh everytime. <br /><div> </div><div> </div><div>So lets just say that blogging is going to be few and far between for the next couple weeks, until Caelum gets this whole sleep thing down. To be honest we have been extremely lucky with him. He rarely cries, he actually enjoys baths, and at nights he will sleep for up to 5 hours straight which is unheard of for a baby. However i'm still not used to it. Also, I have not trained myself to tell the difference between his "i'm just going to randomly make noises in my sleep and i'm actually awake whines" that he makes everynight. So that means last night I only got 30 min of sleep....good times. So i'm trying to sleep when he sleeps during the day but it's harder then I thought it would be. </div></div><br /></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-4852688523270025152010-02-24T16:00:00.002-07:002010-02-24T17:05:23.287-07:00Delivering CaelumSo let me say first off, what happened to me was extremely extremely rare. If you are pregnant, have no fear that what I went through will happen to you. OK? OK.<br /><br />So, Wed Feb 17th i go in for my normal appointment hoping to hear some good news. Well the Dr. Checked and I was still about the same. I was due in 5 days and no change. Bryan and I started to get a little scared because earlier that week my Gall Bladder had decided to start flaring up, it hadn't flared up in over 3 years so we totally didn't expect this. Well the Dr says she is going to be back in a couple min., comes back and tells us to head downstairs and check ourselves in. What? You hope and you pray for this but when they actually decide to admit you it's freaky, I started to cry, a little out of excitement and a little out of fear.<br /><br />So we head downstairs and get ready. Call our moms and let our friends know. Then they come in and give me an IV line, which sucked. I had gotten used to blood draws but not so much a tube in my hand. Then Dr comes in and breaks my water and here come the contractions. Super mild at first, I kept thinking I can do this this is easy...ummm, well 15 min later I was begging for the epidural man, which I never though I would do. He came in and was very friendly and honestly the epidural was nothing, I actually liked it more than the IV line, at least I didn't have to see this one. So then I wait. I wait for 7 hours.<br /><br />Then out of no where my back starts to hurt, really bad, just above the epidural spot. So intense that I have to shift on my side and have Bryan constantly rub my back, then my Gall Bladder flares up...bad. I had also formed a fever that was spiking at 102 so I was placed on antibiotics. They gave me what drugs they could but since I was so close to pushing they couldn't do much. It gets so bad at one point I break down crying, begging for better drugs.<br /><br />Well 9 PM rolls around and the nurse tells me I can start pushing. Easy enough, except my back was in so much pain I could not curl my head towards my chest and everytime I hold my breath my Gall Bladder feels like it's going to expolde. The nurse feels so bad she consults the Dr who says I can have a little more drugs but more than likely i'm going to need a C section. I start to freak out and decide that is not giong to happen, so instead I sit there and cry and push for 3 hours. Everytime I was done pushing I would collapse back and try not to cry, all this time with a nurse telling me I can stop anytime and go in for surgery, that I don't have to do this. I just really didn't want a cesarean.<br /><br />Well at 12:30 they decide no more and take me away. By this time I was screaming at them from back pain and freaking out about the cesarean. I begged them to knock me out, but they said no. I will spare some details of pre surgery, but let's just say there were honestly times I thought it would be easier to go to sleep and not wake up. The Dr was kind enough to give me some gas to relax me and luckily, I fell asleep. Next thing I know i'm waking up and I hear a cry in the distance. I vaguely thought to myself "is that mine? no way, I don't remember being cut open or him coming out". But Bryan was gone and the Dr was there telling me that he will be back in a min. Bryan comes back a couple min later, tells me our baby was 9 lbs. 2 oz and huge. All the nurses were talking about how chunky and cute he was and yet it took another 10 min for me to see him and then they dragged me away.<br /><br />I will be completely honest when I say it was hard, hardest thing I ever had to do. I went through full flegged labor and then had to do a c section anyway, so I went through both forms of delivery all in a 16 hour period. But I will also say this, he is worth it. I would do it all over again for him. I'm still recovering and since mine was a unique case that involved lots of drugs, flared up organs and was a last minute decision, mine is taking a little more time. But he is perfect, the love of my life and I am grateful for every minute I get with him, I am grateful for a husband who was strong enough and loved me enough to stand by my side during the worst pain of my life and I am thankful to Heavenly Father for sending down people to help, we were not alone in that delivery room and I know I could not have done it without the Lord's help.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-5037355840865222532010-02-21T13:54:00.003-07:002010-02-21T14:04:28.364-07:00Meet Baby Watson<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#3333FF;">introducing</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#3333FF;"> Caelum James Watson</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#33CC00;">Born Feb 18th, 2010 at 1:17 AM</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#663333;">Weight 9 lbs 2 oz</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#663333;">Length 21 inches</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWL8nscYFUor8qdj5Gpy88UVOALLAvqFs-Zet__sj7bBAf9Q-oBRQhGzneaBVnnT9di-h1D80PCiuZegRfrP1WwDl9O-sEGeCHBeKpWw-iN3jb4_k5oLZO2YkgVR4Zu03X_p_BEzeu_ck/s400/100_0873.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440803730077990978" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#663333;">We have not taken a family pic yet but I will post more pics soon, along with the delivery story, let's just say i'm still in the hospital : ) </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#663333;">We love him so much and can't wait for everyone to meet him. </span></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-70457501359006131582010-02-11T08:42:00.002-07:002010-02-11T08:59:45.976-07:00So I've Been A Little CrankySo, I haven't been updating a lot lately cause i've been a little on the cranky side. You see last week I was in Labor and Delivery and they told me I should be back within the next couple days delivering, then my Dr told me that I should probably be having the baby any day now, well that couple days/anyday now has officially been over a freaking week. You know, I was perfectly OK waiting until the 22nd, but now they got me all excited and anytime I feel anything going on I freak out that it's a contraction and i'm getting 15 texts a day asking if there is a baby yet, and I haven't been to work in a week cause we were all afraid i'd go into labor.<br /><div>Well.......NOTHING!!!!!</div><div>So yesterday I went into the Dr again for a normal check up, no more progression, so she did the super fun sweeping membrane thing again (I know gross) and sent me on my way. Well I started having major contractions but since i'd been down that road before I decided to wait like 2 hours, well they started to fade away. So I sent Bryan a text at work telling him I was going to go sit in the tub and cry and then sleep until the baby comes. Pretty close, I took a 2 hour nap : ) And then I proceeded to sit around in a pink bathrobe all day and watch Lifetime. </div><br /><div>Well Bryan could tell that I was more than upset and that there really isn't much he can do about it, but he tried. He came home from work last night with these:</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5437013250719427010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 230px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 291px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUnncrxdgXL7l9jwpNLIhbVmOz3P39hGn-3mHRRKJQccc-Mx5oqq9BwtRvtbeoLlB2exFLKeuN2hq9Ox_3MsVA_aLVs3VYJfFkLeifhJ4GywRbCdA5d2yuyKKbKmFY1kXx-V8lB77FEL8/s400/0210001815.jpg" border="0" />These made me realize I need to stop shuffeling around waiting like an idiot and get back to life until baby comes. So I got out of my nice happy recliner, shut off Grey's Anatomy reruns, put away the take out menus (stayed in my pink robe cause seriously clothes just aren't worth it when you're 38 weeks pregnant) and actually cooked dinner. Today I decided it was time to come back to work, actually go into work and not just work from home. I'm going to try and forget about having this baby early and plan on the baby coming on the 22nd, cause if I can't do that then I will very literally go insane. <br /><div></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-57555382812696896922010-02-03T10:59:00.003-07:002010-02-05T10:53:22.425-07:00Baby Watson UpdateWent to the Doc this morning. I am 3 1/2 cm 90% effaced and at a -1 station. What does that mean? Well it means I could pop tomorrow or in 3 weeks. Dr. Brown thinks it will happen within the next week, i'm hoping so too. She says I probably won't progress much further without going into labor.<br />So everyone please keep your fingers crossed, pray, make a wish at 11:11 that I will go into labor soon cause I swear this kid is trying to claw his way out. Wish me luck!!<br /><br />Update 2/5-So, Wed night I started having contractions, although it took me till 11 at night to realize they were contractions and by that point they were 3 minutes apart. So Bryan and I pack up our stuff and head to the hospital where they put me in a trauma room. They want to make sure i'm actually in labor before they admit me. Well I was still 31/2 when they checked but I was definately having contractions that were now 2 minutes apart. They tell me to hold tight and they will check me again in an hour. She comes back and checks me again, still 3 1/2 so she calls the Dr. Well the Dr didn't want to come in at 1:30 in the morning so instead she decided to send me home, didn't strip my membranes or anything. Instead she gave me Morphine (which is a very happy drug) and sends me home. Well Morphine stops contractions, so now i'm having patheticly weak contractions every 10 min and have been since Thurs morning. Called my actual Dr (not the on call Dr) and she is a little cranky, says I should have my baby by now. So now I wait. I feel like I can't do anything but wait. If I have not had the baby by Monday then I will go in and my Dr will strip my membranes and try to help me along. So let's all hope that something happens this weekend and I have my little guy by early next week.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-81466987482878425432010-02-01T09:46:00.003-07:002010-02-01T10:09:17.940-07:00It's really been 10 years since I got my License?Holy Crap i'm 26! I am officially closer to 30 than to 20. I have had my Driver's License for 10 years. I have been out of High School for 8 years. I was thinking of some of the things i've done in the past 10 years, some accomplishments<br /><br />-Graduated High School (18)<br />-Moved half way across the country, on my own (18)<br />-Attended and completed College at the U of U (18-24)<br />-Got my first grown up job with Benefits (23)<br />-Dated, dumped, been dumped by and mutally broken up with way more guys than I should have (18-22)<br />-Got engaged and ended engagement (21)<br />-Survived living in a house with 6 other girls (close call there, almost killed most of them)(20)<br />-Joined a show choir and traveled across the country (20-21)<br />-Visted Hawaii (17)<br />-Visited Mexico (23)<br />-Met my amazing husband and got married (23)<br />-Adopted cats (23)<br />-Found my first gray hair, yup thanks Mom for going gray in your freaking 20's and passing that along to me (25)<br />-Got pregnant (25)<br />-Gave Birth,ok that hasn't happened yet but it will happen when i'm 26 unless I magically turn into an elephant and have a gestational period of 22 months. Then i'll just be pissed.<br /><br />There is plenty more but right now these are what stick out. I'm very excited to be 26 and very excited that it is officially Feb 2010. This is the month I have been waiting for and dreaming of my entire life. This month I will finally become a Mom, my first career choice and life long goal : ) So let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope this baby comes soon. My doc thinks I will pop next week, which means this baby will probably stay in until due date. Thanks for cursing me doc : )Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-87460445761708484912010-01-21T10:19:00.002-07:002010-01-21T10:45:17.673-07:00Happy Birthday Mr. WatsonToday is Bryan's 25th Birthday, that means for the next 10 days we are the same age. I am so grateful for the fact that after 3 years together I can still say that i am IN love with my husband, and more so everyday. <br /><br />Happy Birthday Bryan! Even though it was a year late, i'm glad you were born today : )<br /><br /><br />PS. Baby Update-went to the Dr. for a random check up yesterday, i'm 35 weeks. She decided to go ahead and check me and I am 2 1/2 cm dialated and 80% effaced. She told us to go home and make sure we have everything ready, just in case. Umm, I still have one more baby shower and haven't even washed the baby clothes yet. But hey, I am not going to complain if I give birth early. keep your fingers crossed.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-25381513683022863852010-01-17T20:03:00.001-07:002010-01-17T20:04:45.118-07:00Random ThoughtYou know what sucks sometimes. Having to wear clothes, i'm just saying. You have to pick out stuff that matches and then sometimes they don't fit they way you remember them (especially when your prego) and they are just a pain. <br />OK now you may all feel free to judge me for this thought : )Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-87829373996542216772010-01-14T08:30:00.003-07:002010-01-14T08:54:19.021-07:00i'm patheticI'm pretty sure that I have explained before that bending over is hard when you're pregnant. REALLY HARD. So hard in fact that Bryan puts on my socks and nylons for me, I dont' wear shoes that have ties on them, and if something is dropped on the floor then it stays there (trying to train the cats to pick it up and return it to me was a massive failure). So along with those other things I have been unable to shave my legs for a while, yes it's gross. Instead I wear really thick maternity tights to work and live in jammie pants. Poor Bryan. It has honestly been since before Christmas, sorry but these are just some of the realities of pregnancy. <br />So anyway, yesterday I decided it was time to make an attempt at feeling girly again, a chance to remind my husband that I am not utterly pathetic right now (he really doesn't think that, but he does laugh at me when I try to bend over and grab things). So anyway I hop in the tub and start the horrible task of bending over again and again and again. When your tummy is as big and rock hard as mine currently is it's like running a marathon, you have to take a deep breath and lunge over to reach your legs, do as much as you can then come back up for air. <br />Well this is how pathetic my life has become. I pulled a muslce!! I dont' know the name of this muscle I just know it is located over my right rib. I Molly K Watson pulled a muslce while trying to shave my freaking legs. Honestly? Who does that? How come no one warned me about this stuff? And how come no one has invented a razor with a super duper long handle for pregnant women so we don't walk around with man legs. <br />I told Bryan about this and interspersed between the laughing was moments of sympathy. Sad sad life. I am longing for the day when I can touch my toes and bend again. Oh sweet Feb 22nd you can't come soon enough.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-69949602129943354352010-01-11T08:42:00.002-07:002010-01-11T09:02:20.021-07:00What a coincidence<div>I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but I married a country boy. A man who lived on a farm during the summers and castrated pigs, moved pipe every morning and spent his afternoons shooting birds with his cousins. Yup, country boy. Well, ever since we got married he has been saying he wanted a gun. His grandpa has offered one of his but we both know he's not done with them yet (you just can't take a gun away from an Idaho man until he's dead, it's just wrong). </div><br /><div>So I told Bryan we could start saving for a gun and he has been doing it religiously. We have a Cow Bank that sits next to our TV (I dont' believe in Piggy Banks, I don't like Pigs, I like cows) and every time Bryan has had change he has placed it in that Cow. Well we realized that at the rate he was going that our first kid would be like 4 years old before he got his gun. So I told him we could go to the Gun Show this weekend and look at some and then we'd see. </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425513157926474466" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 127px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 93px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc_3K5yMLYRZ5UpXLAx_ysD7DTDQi8UWaYoeNn-jW9J1GS10BuBRIvA9o3L3Se9fRAthWFwKiiJeByZJaaRxw0O3hRY2f1DQRrlDxmxBs64KAVVeeuXqASagKx_NqJPdvpGRgVDx1ymYE/s400/gun+show.jpg" border="0" />First off, holy crap I have never been to a gun show in my life and it was a unique experience. I mean, i'm a Republican who fully believes in the 2nd amendment and all that jazz but oh my goodness, I am nothing compared to these people!! It was like the FFA from my high school got all their relatives and offspring together, dressed them up in camo, put rifles in their hands and then shoved them into a convention hall. Although one very nice thing about it was that there were absolutely no lines for the ladies room : ) That's because I was one of like 10 women there.<br /><div>So anyway, we go and look for a gun, I find the one that Bryan has been wanting since he first mentioned a gun and we bought it. I think this is probably Bryan's 3rd happiest moment ever, coming in very very closely behind marriage and finding out about baby. </div><br /><div>Well, so Bryan decides to take me out to lunch wherever I want and on the way I start asking what would happen if we got pulled over by a cop with the gun in the car, since Bryan's concealed weapon permit hasn't arrived yet. He says that nothing will happen and don't worry about it, plus the chances of us getting pulled over today are like one in a billion. </div><br /><div>Well guess what freaking happened!!!! After lunch we're on an off ramp and sure enough we get pulled over for expired tabs (i'm a total flake when it comes to registering my car). I practically start hyperventilating because i'm driving the car and all I can think about is how there is a gun under Bryan's seat and this cop is going to throw a pregnant woman on the ground and tazer her! Bryan keeps telling me it's OK and don't worry about it but by this time my anxiety has reached the baby and he's freaking out in the form of kicking the crap out of me and breaking into hiccups. I over compensate with the cop by trying to be really funny (I try to be funny when i'm nervous, ask my phlebotemist sp?) and by the time we were done i'm sure he thought this preggo has lost her mind. </div><br /><div>Luckily he let us go with a warning and the gun never came up. One in a billion, that was my chance of getting pulled over the freaking day we buy and keep a gun in the car and it happened. For people who doubt the Lord has a sense of humor, here is your proof, i'm sure he was bent over laughing watching me hyperventilate and getting beaten up by my baby while trying to make jokes with a cop. Oh good times. </div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-64936066853498416642010-01-07T11:44:00.002-07:002010-01-07T11:59:37.142-07:00Random Thoughts/Moments from TodayRandom Moment 1) So I hop into an elevator over at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and it's about 11'o'clock and I haven't eaten since breakfast, i'm trying to hold off until lunch (bad idea for woman who is 33 weeks pregnant) and someone in the elevator smells like popcorn!! I was soo hungry and the smell was soo heavenly that it took all my power not to start rummaging through people's bags or licking someones fingers in search of salty popcorn residue.<br />PS I ate some fruit snacks as soon as I got back to my desk to prevent me from eating someones hand next trip in the elevator<br /><br />Random Moment 2) I'm in the bathroom at work (if you don't like bathroom stories than stop reading now) and these 2 women come in at the same time. They both hop into their stalls and the normal sounds commence (go ahead and make them in your head). After the normal sound of a person going #1 stops there is dead silence. I'm listening to this dead silence while trying to pull up one of my 5 layers of maternity wear, and i'm trying not to laugh. You see the dead silence means that both women are not done with their business here and that both of them are waiting for some other noise loud enough to cover what they are about to do or they are waiting for people to leave. I think it's soo funny that we do this, we all have. You know what, there is a book out there called Everybody Poops, we should all read it and then enjoy our time in a public restroom. Just saying<br /><br />Random Thought 3) So i'm having a baby shower on Jan 23rd, my 2 best friends are throwing this for me and I started thinking about the stuff I got from my other shower and started panicing. You see, we got a lot of clothes, A LOT of clothes. So much in fact that our baby is pretty much set for AT LEAST the first 3 months of his life and he is doing pretty well on the next 3 as well. So here is my thought, if you are coming to my baby shower in Jan please for the love of goodness DO NOT buy clothes for a baby that is 0-3 months old. Go ahead and buy in the bigger sizes, because I know asking women to not buy clothes for a baby is like having a mormon function without food, it's not going to happen. But please, buy them in bigger sizes, PLEASE!!!<br /><br />Random Moment 4) This morning I put my nylons on, ALL BY MYSELF!!!! No help from Bryan!! This is HUGE! My reward? I bought myself a Caffeine Free Diet Coke, it's like freaking Christmas!!!<br /><br />Final note- So people have been asking to see pics of my new hair (actually no one has asked that, I just tell myself that people have because I like to think other people are interested in my life other than just me), and I will post a pic as soon as I can take a picture of my face without it looking like i'm carrying this baby in my cheeks.Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-35024566067452443732010-01-06T13:33:00.004-07:002010-01-06T13:48:36.237-07:00At least we got to leave work earlySo Monday i'm sitting at work in the Church Office Building and out of no where Bryan shows up. He has a a weird smile onhis face and says "guess what I did?" of course i'm thinking he broke something or spent money on something without telling me so I get my dissapproving wife look on my face and say "what?" <div>He then proceeds to turn around and show me his rear end and the 8 inch rip that is now exposing his underwear. Apparently he was in the process of picking up a hundred pound server and while squatting down the pants could simply not take the pressure and ripped. </div><div>So I look at him trying hard not to laugh and ask "So does this mean we have to leave?", it was only 2 and we don't leave till 4:30 normally. He says of course and from that moment I had to walk right behind him so that no one else could see his cute white undies. </div><div> </div><div>Here are some pics of the ginormous hole that Bryan's behind created.</div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5423729939601803826" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxm0PjRO7a5PaAdI5NUyD47TE2a__3k0MUXFHXbfMooi4IZIL8AR8OBO8L7_l_B_OD1MbzZ-S4eMknCR8yBJxDrMRYaVeVL5m2vZFTw9OTdUl4o6QM8iX-15h1SBCdDSZroSwTExK0vlM/s400/Split+Pants.jpg" /><br /><div></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5423729244632408274" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF6d4jRN9QY-4K1UwyIMjuk0BKv8Kn1OpGsmBrMwGtQCpKrQ0GUuEVOrfw8hYz92N2Uuh6QDg7HNo4W3lz1lxQl6E8kB_qViNUw_Wu1XsdWTpZnrl2l7qphWlQyXH3bQyq5PJlwPU7lmI/s400/Bryan+split+pants.jpg" /> I know I shouldn't laugh at my husband but I was trying not to snort when he told me. Plus, I can't laugh too hard because in my first couple months working at the church my skirt split right down the side. Of course it didn't help that I was trying to fit into a skirt that was already slightly tight 3 months into my pregnancy, but we ended up having to go home because that adorable pencil skirt split from the button to half way down my thigh. Good times. <br /><br />So anyway enjoy making fun of our chubbiness : ) This has inspired our New Year's resolution. Of course I can't really lose weight until I give birth, dang it all. <br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div></div>Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-36120300592873764652010-01-04T08:46:00.002-07:002010-01-04T09:00:34.068-07:00Welcome to 2010So it's officially the New Year. Last night I got to sleep in my own bed and shower in my shower and go pee on my toilet (there's just a comfort from your own toilet, sorry) and most importantly we got to see our kitties. Oh how I missed them. Riddle stood watch over our luggage all night and morning making sure we weren't leaving again. <br />OK, so i'm sure all 3 of you that read my blog are just dying to know what happened on our 12 day vacation. Well here are the highlights<br />Trip out-NO SNOWSTORMS!!! It was perfect. We made it to Kearney, NE by 7 PM the first night and were home by 3:45 the next afternoon. We drove the entire trip in 19 hours, if you exclude the napping. Also considering i'm 7 months pregnant, it was really easy. My hip would start to hurt every once in a while but honestly everything went perfect.<br /><br />Baby Shower #1-My mom threw me a baby shower at her home with women from my home ward and her ward. We made out like bandits. I have to go redo my gift registry some time today to update from all the stuff we got. My mom and her husband Rick were kind enough to buy our Travel System from Graco and my Step Grandma got us our Pack n Play. We were also gifted a swing and bouncy seat along with enough bottles and clothes to last us until this kid is at least 1. <br /><br />Hair Cut-My mom paid for me to go see her stylist. A stylist who will look at you, your skin color and face shape and tell you what will look best. Basically I was informed that I should not be a blonde, with my skin color and eyes it washes me out. So she dumped in some chocolate low lites to soften me out and thinned out a ton of hair. I will take a pic later for you.<br /><br />SNOW!!!-It snowed for 4 days straight at home. That never happens here and I LOVED it. Watching Bryan help shovel the drive at night only to walk outside at 9 the next morning to another foot on the ground. Good work out.<br /><br />Bryan's Beard-Since Bryan works for the church he can't have facial hair. So while on vacation he let it grow. He came in one day from playing boot hockey with the ward in a hoodie, jeans, boots, hockey jersey and a BEARD and I just fell in love all over again. He had to shave it off last night, today i'm in mourning.<br /><br />Christmas-We had 2 out in Minnesota. One with my mom on Christmas Eve. It was subdued compared to years in the past where we couldn't see the tree. Thank goodness or else we would have had some major problems driving home. And Christmas with my dad on Christmas morning. We got a few movies, lots more baby stuff, including a very fashionable diaper bag. My current favorite gift is a pair of Alpaca Slippers I have pretty much lived in these things since Christmas day. Bryan's favorite, weirdly, is a pair of wool socks that have also not left his feet since Christmas. So i'm basically saying stay away from our feet.<br /><br />Relaxing-I spent a lot of time on the couch, napping. I also spent a lot of time in my mom's jaccuzi tub. <br /><br />Singing in Church-Every time my brother and I are home it's like the traveling Davidson Show. We have to sing in church. This year we sang "He is Born" by Sally DeFord. Beautiful song. The first comment we recieved after church was over was "how are you 7 months pregnant and still have the air capacity to sing that well". Well, we sped the song up to almost 2 times the normal beat and we chose a song that I didn't have to hold anything out for more than 5 beats. We also walked up to the podium one song before ours so I wouldn't be winded. I know i'm pathetic, feel free to judge, but it worked. I didn't pass out. <br /><br />Driving home-So the drive home was not as great as the way out. First off, we had so much stuff that we couldn't see out the back window, our seats couldn't recline, and our entertainment had somehow been wedged underneath everything. Second, apparently everyone from the midwest decided it would be a good idea to travel west, on I-80!!! Things were good until Omaha, that's when it all ended. We averaged about 10 miles an hour and at times were at a complete stand still. Why? Accident? Storm? No. Too many freaking people!! So instead of trying to make it to the Wyoming border our first night we camped in Grand Island, NE. The next day was much better, especially since Bryan let me listen to my new Glee CD on repeat for about 6 consecutive hours. How I love him. <br /><br />Being with Bryan-Yes, i'm corny. I love spending all that time with with my husband. In fact I tried to convince him that we needed to take today off as well so we could go make sense of the explosion that occured last night in the Nursery. He however mentioned something about needing money and rent and blah blah blah. I love that I never get sick of that man. We are constantly in the car together, constantly take trips and yet we mostly talk in the car. I love it and I love him. We may not be perfect, and other people may look at our relationship and think we are too affectionate or what we do would not work for them and their relationships, but we know we are perfect for each other and that is all that matters. <br /><br />PS we started the process of purchasing a home in WI. More details on this to come : )Watson Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07241249146925823761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8749240829458772879.post-43884081305127458612009-12-15T09:01:00.002-07:002009-12-15T09:07:51.226-07:00Minniconsin Here We ComeWe leave for Minnesota in less than 48 hours and yes we are driving across the country while I am 7 months pregnant.
