We're Alive!

36 hours later, 28 of that driving, we are finally in Antioch, IL. Everything was find until we hit Iowa, then it took it 7 hours to cross a state that should normally take 3-4. We saw over a hundred cars in the ditch, nearly a dozen trucks in the ditch and were 4 miles behind an accident that killed 2 people East of Des Moines; so we are extremely grateful that we arrived safely...just a little later than we planned.
So i'm going to take a little hiatus from writting, at least until after Christmas. So to each of you, Merry Christmas, hope that it is everything you hope it to be.

Home for the Holidays!!

Bryan and I are officially on Christmas Vacation. We left Friday morning at 8 AM for Chicago. We are driving, too many presents to fly, and we did get out of Salt Lake before the storm hit. However, we are currently driving through East Iowa and it appears that the storm has caught up to us.
West Iowa was horrible and consisted of me driving 45 mph with the wind trying to knock my little Ford Focus into the ditch. Looking forward they are saying there are more storms in Wisconsin and Illinois. Yay for driving super slow. So I will keep all 5 of you that read my blog up to date on the trip and will let everyone know when we have arrived safely in Antioch, IL.
Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you all have safety in your holiday travels.

Sometimes, life is just hard

So I know that many people out there in Blog Land only ever discuss the happy times. Their date nights, cute things their kids did, how Super Duper their spouses are. Well I believe in showing the good and bad times of my life.
I will say first, that overall my life is great. I am happy and have a great marriage; but sometimes, life is just hard.
You see, there is this opportunity that had come into Bryan and my life. This opportunity was going to change a lot of things and open a lot of doors for us. We had put a lot of effort into this opportunity and a lot of hope, and I mean A LOT.
Well yesterday we learned that the door to this opportunity was closed. Bryan informed me last night and to say the least, I was devestated. For those who know me, they know I don't cry very often. I do when i'm touched by the spirit and during Kodak and Disney commercials, but in real life situations where i'm supposed to cry...nothing. Well last night I broke down. Bryan's pillow had turned black from my running mascara. I felt like all doors have closed, my dreams that were so close had just been taken away and I failed to understand why.
I still don't understand why and I still want to break down, but after hours of thinking last night and lots and lots of praying i've come to the conclusion that I simply have to have faith. The lord does not close a door unless it's the wrong door and when he does he opens another. We simply have to find that other door. And even though I have come to this realization, it's still really hard to accept and i'm still slightly upset about this, but i'm trying. Life is amazing and a great blessing from our Heavenly Father, but just because it's a blessing that does not mean it won't be hard sometimes and the road won't be bumpy along the way. So hopefully this bump will lead us down a better path.
So for any friends and family out there who may read this, please keep us in your prayers. Thank you for all your love and support. Love you all.

Christmas Cookies

So Sunday night, Bryan and I are laying around talking about Christmast traditions and what we would like to keep from each family. Bryan mentions a tradition where his family would make Spritz cookies and hang them on the tree; and my family would simply make 200 Spritz cookies and Spenser would eat them all. So as we are talking about this, I mention that I wish I had a Spritz Maker. This then reminds me that we had this exact same combination last year and started wondering why we hadn't bought one. Then it hits me. I think my Mom bought me one last year for Christmas, and I think it's in our cupboard along with an apple peeler and a blender we have never used. Sure enough there it is, in all it's glory.

So Last night Bryan and I look over the recipe, decide we have everything that we need to make the cookies and are going to attempt this.

Well my Mom's recipe and the box recipe say specifically, not to use vegetable oil substitutes for margarine or butter. well that is all that we had so we used it anyway. We now know why. It's oily and does not make the shapes that they are supposed to. Let's just say my cookies look nothing like Mom's cookies. But, they taste good which is all that really matters. Here's some pics of my cookie adventure.

As you can see from my face, i'm struggeling and me and the spritz maker are having a fight. The cookies refused to stick to the pan or make pretty tree shapes.

Here are my best and my worst cookies. The one in the middle is a reject cookie, so Bryan had to eat it.

So I will admin, i'm not very good when it comes to baking cookies and bars but when it comes to mashed potatoes and a roast, i'm the best. So try not to judge me too harshly on my cookie baking.

Sign of Christmas

The lights at Temple Square are a tradition for most families. Well last year Bryan and I missed it, so the last time we were here together was 2 years ago when we were still dating, not even engaged. So here are a couple pics from our little adventure.

We tried to take this pic by ourselves, didn't work. Thank goodness for the hundreds of Sister Missionaries on Temple Square.

This tree was absolutely gorgeous. I told Bryan that I expect him to do our Christmas trees like this...you know when we have a yard....and trees.

I love that they put a mini nativity in the reflecting pool, and I especially love the floating lights. They make it seem slightly magical.

A very nice older woman took this picture for us. Told us that it better be our Christmas Card or she would be offended. She's going to be offended. Sorry. I also want to mention that there was practically a line to get your picture taken. Seriously thousands of people there. Crazy Mormons and their traditions.

We found Bryan's language on the bags

And finally a picture of the temple. Back in the day when I was a server, I would get a lot of tourists who would ask what to see, and of course I would say Temple Square. They asked where it was and what it looked like and I would always say "it's the building in the middle of town that looks like a castle". That's what i've always thought of when I see Temples in the middle of cities of peaking up over highways. It makes me thankful to know that I can go inside that "castle" anytime I want too.

Merry Christmas Everyone

It's About Time!!!

Well, it’s about time that I contribute to this blog, seems how my name is in it. I am not as graceful as my wife with words or as articulate. So here goes. With everyone blogging about what they are grateful for this holiday season, I thought I would do the same. The number one reason that I have to be thankful for is MY WIFE. She does so much for me and for us. She works so hard at a job where they don’t fully appreciate her contributions just to put me through school. She then comes home and cooks dinner, because I am the typical man that doesn’t really know a thing about cooking. I’m lucky I know how to turn the stove on and off; don’t ask about the oven though. She works hard to make our tiny, cramped apartment a home by adding little touches here and there to remind us of how LUCKY I AM to have her as not only my wife, but MY BEST FRIEND. We always try to make each other laugh; we are always talking and chatting with each other from politics and the future to how she is going to tell our children lies when they get to the age of endless questions. I absolutely LOVE spending every single and available second with her and it does not matter what we do. I am thankful for the fact that she chose ME; a half city-boy, half farm-boy who just barely started college when we got married a year and a half ago and didn’t have much to offer her, besides my love. She puts up with my teasing and throws it right back at me. She knows how to make me melt with just a soft touch of her little finger. She does so many little things to show me that SHE LOVES ME, and I have no idea why she does. I thank my Father in Heaven EVERY DAY that she chose me and ask Him to help me to never lose her.

But i've been here since 2 AM!!!!!!!!!

This year, Bryan and myself decided that were were going to take advantage of the sales on Black Friday; we decided to wake up at 2 AM, drive to the target in Sandy and sleep in our sleeping bags (by the way, didn't seem like such a great idea at 2 AM when I actually had to wake up and drive)

So we get to Target and we are #3 in line HOLY CRAP!! Extremely lucky. Well it was nice to just lay on the ground in sleeping bags for maybe...an hour. Than the rain comes, a few drops at first, than a torential downpour. This is at 3:30 in the morning, I still have 2 and a half hours to wait for the doors to open, my sleeping bag has turned into a river and my pillow turned into a giant sponge. I was miserable. So Bryan and I debate whether or not its worth it and decide to suck it up and stay. So we wait around for another couple hours; in the process we watch a guy get escorted from the line for budging, we got glared at by the Nazi line lady who would stop every person walking to the front of the line asking when they got there, and met a nice lady who brought along her 4 children to guard their basket with their lives.

During this time there is a security guard wandering around answering questions "where are the digital picture frames?" "behind the counter", "do you guys have Wii Fits?" "Yup, a whole display of them". This of course gets us excited and we decide that we are going to buy 3 Wii Fits and sell them on eBay. Well 5:55 AM rolls around and we are all practically jumping up and down (us and the 400 people behind us) Let me tell you, ntohing is scarier than knowing that there are 400 people in line behind you who will happily trample you to the ground just to get that Xbox or $300 26 inch flat screen TV, I was borderline terrifed.

6 AM, the doors open, Bryan screams "GO" and I sprint past the 2 people in front of me in line and bolt straight for electronics. FIRST PERSON THERE!!!! I ask where the digital pic frames are, there's a display case of about 200 of them. So I grab and find someone else "where are the Wii Fits"..."WE DON'T HAVE ANY"

WHAT!!!!!!!

I have been in line since 2 flipping AM and you don't have any freaking Wii Fits!!!! I was pissed off. So instead I induldge myself in $40 worth of movies.
After Target we hit up Wal-Mart and decide that all the other sales can wait till that afternoon. We run home and sleep for 5 hours than hit the sales again.
That is when we decide, on a whim, to stop by Game Crazy and ask for a Wii. They have 1 left in stock, so of course we buy it!!!!

I LOVE IT!!! This thing is amazing, my legs are killing me today and have been for the past 2 days. This thing weighs you, tells you your BMI; although I don't like the fact that it makes my Mii slightly heavier to resemble the real me, and the way the board SIGHS everytime I step on it like it can't breath. So below are a couple pics of Bryan and I working out. And yes we may look stupid but everyone does on the Wii.
I'm doing step aerobics. And yes, I know i'm Sexy!!

Bryan doing Yoga, I never ever thought i'd see this. He also got a better score than me.

So, over all I would say it was worth it, but will I do it again next year? Probably not. Would I recommend a Wii Fit? Heck yes I would!!! Just don't be offended by the fat Mii's and the sighing board. It's nothing personal.

Thawing my turkey in a bathtub

So, let's start at the beginning of this 4 day Holiday Weekend.

Wednesday night Bryan and I head out to Wal-Mart to pick up a turkey, we figured they would have the largest selection. We get there at about 4:30 in the afternoon and they have practically NOTHING, only a handful of 5 lb turkeys left over. So at this poin i'm freaking out thinking that we will have to cook approx. 4 of these midget turkeys just to feed us. So we decided to chance it, left and ran across the street to Harmons. THANK GOODNESS for Harmons and their massive selection. We grabbed a 20 lb Turkey and ran home.

This is when I have to start the thawing process. You are supposed to thaw the turkey 2-3 days in advance. Well this is t minus 18 hours till dinner, so that was not going to happen. So the plan is to fill the sink with cold water and place the turkey in there, fully submerged. Well....have you ever tried to put a 20 lb turkey into a sink? Doesn't fit. So we decide to do the redneck thing. We placed the turkey in a garbage bag (to prevent leakage) and we place it in our bathtub surrounded by cold water.
Our cats were loving this. They were batting at it and trying to eat it.

Here is a picture of Riddle sniffing the bag. I know this is incredibly hillbilly, but we needed the turkey to be thawed.

So luckily the turkey thawed in plenty of time and didn't taste like shampoo at all. However, the next morning we found all 3 cats sniffing and licking the tub in hopes of some turkey remains. We ended up bleaching the whole tub on Sat just to be safe : )

So...the turkey turned our great, by the way. While we were waiting for the turkey to cook up in Coalville the boys and myself decided to go do a little bit of shooting. So below are a couple pics. I would also like to mention that my husband was the best shot there, even better than the cop : )

Being all manly

Talking about how good of shots they all are (we actually all sucked, Bryan and Allen are the only 2 who hit the can, I was lucky I didn't shoot anyone)

Tender (thats the best I can do at being politically correct with this picture)

So to sum up thanksgiving-thawing my turkey in the bathtub, shooting guns in Coalville. Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. Next post, waking up at 2 AM only to sit in the rain and find out Target doesn't carry Wii Fits.

What I am MOST thankful for

There are 2 things in my life that I am most thankful for, an that will always top my thankful list.

1)The Gospel and the church in my life. There are a lot of bad things going on in this world right now, and a lot to be down about. Our church is being targeted by many and we as members of the church are being ridiculed and attacked; and yet, I have great joy in my life. I know, without a doubt, that no matter what happens in this life, in this country, in the world, that as long as I have the savior on my side, that everything will be OK. I know the church is true with every fiber of my being and I am more thankful than I could ever express in words.

2) My husband. I try my best everyday to tell and show Bryan how thankful I am for him in my life. When I was younger I had a list of all the things I wanted in a husband, the list was 4 pages long. I dated men that fit every characteristic of that list, and yet I was not happy. I met Bryan and realized that nothing on that list mattered unless he loved me more than anything on this earth, put me on a pedestal, and was a worthy priesthood holder. Bryan is not what I pictured marrying when I was little, and i'm thankful for that, because he is soo much more. He makes me feel like a queen everyday and lists off all the reasons he loves me now, and will continue to love me forever.
We have been married for a year and a half, and each day I learn more about him and love him more. Thank you Bryan for being my husband and my best friend.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Bye Bye Blonde Part II

So I mentioned last Friday that I would be saying goodbye to my Blonde hair and trying something new. Well, the picture is below. It's a little dark right now, but will fade a little and I will lighten it until it is my natural color.

So, I am enjoying the difference, however, there is one thing that I am struggeling with that I need help on. I have no idea how to do make up for such dark hair, I need tips so that I don't have to wear bright red lips or wear lots of mascara.

So, I know a few people read my blog, they just never comment on anything : ( but if you are kind enough to help me out here, I will love you forever. Also feel free to tell me what you think. Unless you hate it, then shut your mouth : )

Indoor plumbing, amongst other things

I have notice that a lot of people out there in blogland have been posting what they are thankful throughout the month of Nov. Well I obviously have not been doing this. But I decided that I could stand to do it for the next couple days leading up to Thanksgiving. So let's begin
1) I am thankful for indoor plumbing. I love it soo mucch! I love that I don't have to walk outside to an outhouse, or go potty in a big hole in the ground. I am especially grateful fo this in the middle of winter at 2 AM in the morning when I wake up to go potty. So thank you to the man who invented indoor plumbing, I will forever be in your debt.
2)I am thankful for Caffeine Free Diet Coke. I am trying to cut Caffeine out of my life (the headaches are horrible). SO I have been drinking a lot of this. Extremely grateful they make a caffeine free option.
3) My kitties. My first 2 cats were a present from my husband when I lost my job last year, and Tonks was a stray that Bryan was kind enough to let me keep. They have been like children to me ever since. Anyone who says that cats don't have personalities have obvisouly not met mine.
Riddle-he is a super cuddley, attention hog. He will come up and jump on you as soon as you sit down a book or comp. When you walk in the door he meows at you as if to say "where the heck have you been all day and why weren't you here petting me?"
Lupin-is slightly stand offish at first, only wants to be cuddled on his terms; except on Sat morning. Sat morning he happily jumps on the bed, crawls under the covers and monopolizes my cuddeling time
Tonks-this 3 lb. kitten is freaking adorable. She has learned that you have to meow sometimes to get attention, so she will meow and follow you everywhere until you pick her up and rub her down.
Since I don't have children currently, these 3 have been great substitutes. Thanks honey for letting me have them. Below are some recent pics of my babies.
"Rawr"

Tonks has a little crush on Lupin, so cute

They are all very friendly, so they like to sleep right next to each other

I AM A UTAH MAN, SIR

(14) Brigham Young 24, (7) Utah 48

I don't think I need to say anymore, the score speaks for itself!! I nearly lost my voice last night screaming at the TV and jumping up and down on my Sister in Laws couch.  The best part of last night, was trying to go from the screaming roudiness of the game, to preparing my lesson for Relief Society this morning.  Thank goodness the game ended early.
SO to all my BYU friends (KJ) HAHAHAHA

Bye Bye Blonde

For the majority of my life I have been fighting nature and dying my hair blonde. It has been an expensive, time consuming, uphill battle; and nature has officially won. Tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 (don't worry I will be done before the big game) I will embrace what was given to me and dying my hair a dark Brunette. I have to go extremely dark to cover the blonde and stop it from turning a greenish color and will lighten it from that point till it's my natural brown.

So Bye Bye Blonde, I will miss you, we really did have more fun.

Epiphany

I realized today that I am much funnier in my head than I am outloud.

This is harder than the day I realized that Big Bird and Kermit were just puppets with someones hand sticking up their backside.

THE VAMPIRES ARE COMING!!!

Twilight arrives in Theatres in 9 days!!! Like most people, especially women, I am ridiculously excited. However I have been having this weird internal dilemma lately.

Understand this about me first, I am one of those people that has a hard time seperating the actor from the character. I think Tom Cruise is a goober so I won't see any of his movies, I think Seth Rogan is a crack head high school drop out so when I watch him on the screen I want to smack him, Nicole Kidman looks like a wax statues so I have a hard time watching her try to act. Movie magic can of course make anyone look good, but in real life they look...dirty.

So this is the dilemma I am having with Edward Cullen and Robert Pattinson. Please compare and contrast the 2 pics from below:

Handsom, clean cut...CLEAN

Real life. Umm, I wouldn't touch that with a 10 Ft. pole. Robert actually says that he has not washed his hair in 6 WEEKS!!! One word...Goober!

So, of course I will go and see the movie, and like every other girl, wish that I had somehow married Edward; but this image of Robert above will stay with me through the whole movie. I mean does anyone actually find that Sexy?

Eye boogers or Kitty AIDS

I haven't written about the cats in a while so I figured it was about time for a Kitty Post!!

So...Sat night I was cuddeling with Riddle (the fat black one) and noticed that his eye had some pretty severe boogers going on, so I clear them away and don't think about them anymore.
Sunday morning I pick him up before church and notice they are back, if not worse. His eye is kinda half open and he looks like someone punched him. So this time I clear off the crusties and dig out any other boogers (this whole time Bryan is getting sick by the way, he HATES boogers)

Sunday night it is starting to look really bad so I decide it's time to consult Google about Kitty Eye infections. The first thing I read is about how severe cats can get eye infections and how it can be a sign of FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) AKA Kitty AIDS, this of course freaks me out. I start cuddeling with Riddle and looking for a Vet as if his life depends on it. After looking a at a bunch of Vets and reading some scary reviews, I finally find one up in Cottonwood. The next morning I call, literally as they opened, and made an appointment for 5:30 that night. The whole time i'm at work trying not to imagine having to put Riddle down because he has FIV or about him someone passing it onto the other 2 kitties.

So yesterday I leave work a little early, convince Bryan that he can't go to the Chiro but has to come with me, we put Riddle in his little red harness and we take off. At the vet we were the only ones with cats, luckily Riddle didn't freak out when he was put face to face with 3 dogs bigger than him.

So we get into the room, i'm still thinking he has Kitty AIDS and the Dr. looks at him for 2 minutes, tells me us it looks like one of the other cats scratched him in the eye, gives him some eye drops and we're done.

All worries of Kitty AIDS out the window, which makes me very happy. Riddle is the cuddliest cutest cat I have ever met, he is seriously my baby, he even talks back when we ask him questions, so the idea of not having him is unbearable.

So if your cat ever has an eye infection, DON'T GOOGLE IT!!! It will look like Kitty AIDS. Also if you still have time, be a vet $45 for 5 minutes of work, must be nice.

ps Here is Riddle the morning after we brought him home, he was still skinny back then.

Election Day

If anyone knows anything about me, they know that I was not happy with the results last night. However, though I may not agree with the results, or like the candidate, I do agree with the system. I am grateful to live in a country where I have the right to vote the way I choose, say what I want to about the candidates, and practice my religion as I see fit.
So, I voted for McCain and did everything in my power to get him elected, however I will stand behind this country's decision and I wish Obama all the best. THis country is a mess right now, so Obama needs the help of as many people as he can get, cabinet members, congress and the senate; yes even though it's a democrat majority. So Good Luck Obama, you'll need it.

As for Proposition 8, according to all Media Outlest and voting trends, it looks like it has passed and i'm extremely grateful. I believe marriage should be defined as a man and a woman. I have received a lot of criticism on Facebook for my belief in this, and have had to defend myself and my religion numerous times, which I believe is unfair, but i'm willing to stand up for what I believe in.
So...Way to go California, i'm proud of you!!!

First Date

2 years ago today, Bryan and I had our first "date".
For any of you who know the story of our first date, you know why it's in quotes.
For those of you who don't know why, and don't understand, just ask. Let's just say our first date was not typical, and the relationship was not meant to turn into a marriage.
However, no matter what it was supposed to be, meeting Bryan that night for our "date" was the best decision I ever made, and i'm extremely grateful to have him as my husband, he may not be perfect (no one is) but he is perfect for me. Love you honey!

Here is a picture from when we first started dating, it's off my cell phone.

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween to everyone out there in Blog Land.

Tonight Bryan and I will be going to a Trunk and Treat for our ward and then off to a corn maze or haunted house, not sure yet. I hope everyone has a happy and safe halloween; and I hope to see pics of everyones costumes on their blogs.

Here is a pic of Bryan and me at a party last week, we are a couple from the 50's, we will take more pics and post them last this week.

Pooping iPods

OK, so i'm sure that everyone has seen those iPod nano commercials where the nanos go flying through the air and line up like a rainbow and then....leak. Well the funny thing about this commercial is that it makes Bryan giggle like a 12 year old boy.
He thinks it looks like the iPods are pooping. In fact when you watch it the red one starts to leak first and then the others follow. Bryan starts laughing and giggeling and says things like "anal leakage"; further proof that guys never really grow up.
Next time you watch just keep that in mind.

Who doesn't love Disneyland?

For the whole, maybe 2 people that religiously read my blog, i'm sorry for not updating in a while. It's been a little busy. So let's dive right into it.

On Oct. 12th Bryan and I hoped into Bush (my Focus) and started the 10 hr dr. to So. Cal. We hung out with Bryan's family for 2 days and then we started the real trip. Tues Oct 14th, early in the morning we drove to the mission home and picked up Elder Davidson. I honestly can't believe that 2 years have passed since he left. In those 2 years, I have met and married Bryan, celebrated an anniversary and My other brother and his wife have had a little girl and she has also turned one. A lot happens in 2 years

The whole Famdamily and Elder Davidson. When Spenser left, 2 of these people weren't part of the family.

So when we pick up Spense we decide to drive around the prettier parts of his mission, by prettier I mean the parts up in the mountains. And can I just say that So. Cal, unless your on the ocean, is really really ugly, you could not pay me enough to live there. So we went up to Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake, it's beautiful up there and a little chilly.
Bryan and I in Lake Arrowhead. The minimum cost of a cottage up here $350,000

We don't get to take family pics very often, so when we do we take a lot.

All the kids trying to lift Spenser's fat behind.

After driving around for about 5 hours, we went to Medieval Knights; a restaurant where they do jousting and you have to eat with your hands. It was a....unique experience. The food wasn't great and the acting was bad, but it was entertaining none the less. Below are a couple pics
Ahh, Medieval Knights.

Then the best part. DISNEYLAND!!!!!! I have never really been (I went when I was like 2, but that doesn't count because I have no memories)

It was great, I loved it. The only down side, is it's sooo expensive. Bryan and I bought 2 hoodies and like 3 other little things and that came to almost $200. So overall it was awesome, we are planning on going back in March when we are there for our cousin Suzann'e wedding. So below are a couple of the pics from Disneyland.

Of all the rides and fun things to do, the boys wanted to play a basketball game in the arcade. They went to all the trouble of finding quarters and realized the game was out of order.

We were first in line to see Minnie, and then this spanish speaking family decided to budge us in line and take each individual kids pic with Minnie, gurgle. Well we finally got ours, and Minnie kept shushing us cause Kenzie was sleeping.Tower of terror, best flipping ride ever. We went twice because there was no line.

The Incredibles. For some reason, all dignity is thrown out the window when you meet the characters, it's like being 5 again.

OK, so this picture is great. You see Coryn mopping? We had to run the whole way to space mountain cause it might have closed. She was balling by the time we got there, screaming she didn't want to go on the ride. She stayed pissed the whole time and when she was done was telling us how much she enjoyed it...7 year olds.

You have to pose like a statue when in Disneyland. Notice Bryan in the background?

I love this picture. It's Bryan chasing Kenzie through California Adventure. He will be so cute with our kids.

And Kenzie showing Uncle Bryan where she wants to go next

And one more. This is actually after the park at Olive Garden. Kenzie had been a little backed up since they arrived in Cali and she was trying soo hard to poo and it just wan't working. She she would be coloring and suddenly make this face and concentrate really hard and you just knew she was trying to poo with all her might. A couple at the table behind us were pointing and laughing. Poor thing.

Now showing Molly Watson's life in Theatre #2

So my friend Jodi wrote a post a couple weeks ago with a list, well #4 on that list said that she narrates her life in her head. I thought that was funny because I do something very similar.

You see, I have always pictured Judgement day (when we all die and God is juding our lives) as a big movie premier. You sit in a theatre with people who played a big part in your lives and your life comes up on a big movie screen, and someone is up there pointing out the places that you made mistakes..ex. "you see Molly, right here you dropped the F-Bomb, that's a deduction of 10 points"
So because our life is a movie, I picture these little invisible cameras floating around me at all times. So rather than narrating my life in my head, I used to do it outloud, to the "cameras". When I would dance in front of my mirror in my bedroom, I would explain why I was doing it to the "camera" so that the people who are watching my life on judgement day don't think i'm crazy.
I still catch myself doing it every once in a while, usually while i'm driving. It's almost theraputic, at the end of my day i'm driving home and describing my day to imaginary cameras. You should all try it one day.
So does anyone else do anything crazy like that, or am I the only one?

In case you can't tell, I don't like Obama

MARK I WANT YOUR BODY!!!!

That is what Bryan and I heard last night, at the So You Think You Can Dance concert, from the screaming preteens behind us. However, as annoying as the teeny boppers were, it was a great time. Bryan and I sat up in the nose bleeds, but to the right of the stage so we were high but relatively close. As amazing as the dancers are on TV, they are even better in person; makes me want to be a dancer. Below are a couple pics from the show.

You can kinda see how far away we are from the stage.

They started the show just like they do on TV, with introductions and a walk off between girls and boys. This is Will and Jessica doing the Adam and Eve Dance, AKA the naked/practically having sex onstage dance.Gev dressed up like a woman. He was hilarious, the comic relief of the group; and I must say his solo dance was the most impressive. He received a standing ovation that lasted almost 5 min. And last but not least, pics of the suitcase dance. Ohh my gosh, this dance is my favorite. It's Chelsie and Mark doing a hip hop routine to Bleeding Love. They act and dance so perfectly. And since Chelsie is from UT it received the longest standing ovation. It was a great show, I can't wait till next season. Too bad it doesn't start till May '09.
